Our Strategy Statement is as follows: The Military Ministry will fulfill its mission through intentional connection, targeted support, spiritual formation, and community engagement designed specifically for military families. This strategy includes offering relational environments that provide safe spaces for military families to connect and grow, such as small groups, luncheons, workshops, and mentorship programs. It also includes equipping leaders who understand the unique military culture, ensuring that spiritual formation reflects both Scripture and real-life experiences.
Partnerships with local military institutions, veteran organizations, and non-profits will extend the ministry’s outreach and deepen its impact (Phil. 2:4). Authors Richard Tacon, Geoff Walters, and Chris Cornforth emphasis the importance of continual connection to the organization that helps launch a non-profit therefore, the ministry will maintain ongoing collaboration with church leadership to ensure alignment with FLC’s overall mission.[1] Through these efforts, the ministry will serve military families with excellence, intentionality, and grace.
