Rev. Dr. Rebekah D. Romo is a devoted minister, chaplain, teacher, and servant-leader with a deep passion for spiritual formation and helping others grow in their faith. In 2026, she earned her PhD from Liberty University, an achievement that reflects her commitment to theological scholarship and Christ-centered leadership. She was certified as a chaplain in 2024, equipping her to provide compassionate spiritual care, encouragement, and guidance to individuals and families in a wide range of life circumstances.
Rev. Dr. Romo joyfully servs in Sunday School, where she loves teaching God’s Word and helping others deepen their understanding of Scripture. Her heart for discipleship is evident in her dedication to mentoring, teaching, and walking alongside others as they grow in their relationship with Christ. She finds great fulfillment in creating spaces where people feel encouraged, equipped, and spiritually strengthened.
Rebekah’s greatest joy, outside of her love for God, is her family. She has been happily married to her husband, Alex Romo, for over 26 years. Together they have two children, Lena and Xander, and she is grateful to have gained a son-in-law, Sullivan. She also enjoys spending time with her beloved dogs, Ralph and Belle.
In her free time, she loves learning, dancing, and teaching. Rev. Dr. Romo is passionate about inspiring others to discover their purpose, grow in faith, and experience the transforming love of Christ.
